Task Force 24
| 2/2504.11 |
The unit patrols the Farkin system.
| 2/2504.13 |
A force of eighteen Size B and six Size A Klingon ship signatures appear at the edge of the system. The commander of the force sends a taunt to the Federation commander.
Admiral Kinneson orders his force to engage. The Klingon force turns away, but is quickly caught.
The Battle of Farkin occurs. Task force 24-1 is soundly beaten by a Klingon fleet under Admiral Ker'chuck. It retreats from the system and makes for Bakers World in the AOFW. Admiral Kinneson requests the sector Political Section to make arrangements for repairs there. With its cripples in tow the force is able to make warp 6. It will arrive at Bakers World on 2/2504.18.
Task 24-2 is ordered to divert is passage to Farkin and to go to Flood instead. It will arrive at Flood on 2/2504.15. Upon arrival they are to be temporarily under the command of Commander Task Force 65.
| 2/2504.15 |
Task Force 24-2 arrives at Flood and joins Task Force 65.
| 2/2504.16 |
Task Force 24 enters the territory of the AOFW. Soon afterwards it is contacted by the gunboat Lockhart. The gunboat says the task force has permission to proceed to Bakers World by a direct path (which it is already on). The task force is instructed to observe communications silence while in the AOFW. Any communications must be sent through the Star Fleet liaison officer at Bakers World.
| 2/2504.18 |
The Task Force arrives at Bakers World. The Star Fleet liaison officer boards the flagship and informs the admiral that the AOFW Navy has agreed to shift all work being done by the R-1 outpost (the High Haven) to the local repair ship and planet. The High Haven will be available in three days (2/2504.21).

Task Force 24-2 arrives at Flood and joins Task Force 65.
Two hours later a force of thirteen Size B and five Size A Klingon warp signatures enter the outer system from the "east".
Admiral Parksley orders his fleet forward to engage the Klingon force, however, the Klingons quietly leave the system at warp 6 headed "west".
| 2/2504.16 |
The task force departs for the Farkin system with orders to engage any force of twenty or less Klingons, and to avoid an enemy force of over twenty ships. It will arrive on 2/2504.18.
| 2/2504.18 |
Task Force 65 arrives at the Farkin system. The system is empty. The force moves in.

Task Force 89

The task force leaves the Flitner system, heading for Turningpoint, to arrive in 2 days.
| 2/2504.12 |
A short way out of the Flitner system, the task force detects three Klingon Size B warp signatures following it. The shadows remain at long sensor range and follow the fleet. The following message is sent by Admiral T'nek.

On Stardate 2/2504.12, we have detected the presence of 3 Size "B" Klingon warp signatures in our wake. We believe these to be IKS vessels shadowing us. Their current intention is unknown. As we are only hours away from the Turningpoint system, we are taking no action at this time unless they follow us in system.
| 2. |
At this time, we recommend increased patrols between the IKS and worlds friendly to the Federation.

The task force arrives at the Turningpoint system. In the system are three Size A Federation ship signatures and five Size A Romulan ship signatures. Two Pulsar class warpshuttles meet the fleet part way into the system. They identify themselves as the Rinbu and the Nadsir. An Andorian with a shaved head greets the fleet from the Rinbu, wishing them health and happiness, but points out that warships are not allowed in the Turningpoint system. Moments later, alarms go off throughout the fleet and shields automatically spring up. Despite this, the transporters on the two warpshuttles beat the defenses of the cruiser Dianna and the frigate Barnett. Upon investigating, the crews of these ships find their living quarters inundated with pamphlets for the Hari Krishna movement. The Andorian waves, and says "goodbye". Communications are cut by the Turningpoint ships, which wait patiently for the force to leave their system.
Not welcome at Turningpoint, Task Force 89 heads for Deerlam, to arrive in 4 days.
Shadowing continues.
| 2/2504.17 |
Entering the Deerlam system, one Size B and two Size A Federation signatures are detected. They turn out to be a Remora class escort and two Pulsar class warpshuttles. The planetary government is pleased to see the fleet arrive, although expressing some reservations about a threat from the Romulans if the system was to be seen as a fleet location. Rear Admiral T'nek's offer of ten days of joint training with the garrison is happily accepted.
The shadowing force takes up a position on the opposite side of the system from Task Force 89 and sits quietly.
| 2/2504.18 |
Rear Admiral T'nek reports that he has shifted his flag from the battle cruiser Resolution to the cruiser Lifeforce.
The task force turns on the shadowing force, and attempts to engage it in combat. The shadows turn and run from the system.
| 2/2504.19 |
Task Force 89 and the local system garrison begin joint training exercises.
The shadow force returns to the outer edge of the system.
